The new Raptor 3D dual stream digital disk recorder records and plays back discrete right & left eye outputs.
Raptor 3D
Playback Technologies is now shipping the new Raptor 3D dual stream digital disk recorder designed exclusively for video assist applications. The Raptor 3D allows two genlocked HD-SDI inputs to be recorded and played back as discrete right & left eye outputs. Using the onboard 3D mux allows simultaneous output via HDMI for display on a 3D capable monitor.
The Raptor 3D is a completely self-contained digital disk recorder with a functional front panel allowing for truly portable use. No other computer or laptop is required to control the Raptor 3D. Just hook up a monitor, mouse, and keyboard to access the included video assist software application.
A new and improved QuickMix feature set allows for visual effects shot line up capability by allowing chroma keying and variable opacity mixing of a selected still frame or motion clip with a live input signal.
Record over 150 hours of HD video on an internal 3TB hard drive and operate from a 12vdc battery if necessary. Legacy analog and composite video input/outputs are supported when using the deck in single stream mode.
